Overview
A free special First Nations designed movement fusion combining breathwork, yoga and dance for all levels of fitness. A fun, safe space and please bring water, hat and wear comfy clothes!
Bunyarabugalma Dreamtime Movements is a wellbeing resource developed by the Educators, Elders, and Parents of the Kids Caring for Country and Guyahyn Aboriginal Early Childhood Project- Projects of the Murwillumbah Community Centre guided by Bundjaulung Elders and community leaders.
This resource aims to heal trauma, reconnect communities with language, country, and culture, and enhance the overall health and wellbeing of Aboriginal families. Their people have used animal postures, deep breathing and contemplation for wellbeing and healing through dance, song and ceremony for thousands and thousands of years. It keeps them strong and calm and healthy.
This is an amazing opportunity to enjoy a special free community event, and all are welcome to enjoy this school holiday family fun.
