Adventure holiday on the Central Coast
There's an adventure activity for all tastes on the Central Coast. Trail rides on horseback, quad biking, golf and following cycle tracks along the beach are just a few. Skydiving and tandem microlight flights are options for the serious adventurer or an underwater adventure at the ex-HMAS Adelaide Dive site, off the coast at Terrigal.
Central Coast Area
From Broken Bay at the mouth of the Hawkesbury River to south of Newcastle, the Central Coast includes a mix of bays and inlets, pristine beaches, lakes and lush hinterland, in towns such as Terrigal, Gosford and Ettalong Beach.
Just follow the Legendary Pacific Coast touring route and you’ll enjoy the region’s laid-back atmosphere, whether you’re swimming, surfing, fishing or sailing, or simply relaxing at one of the waterfront cafés or restaurants. With accommodation ranging from B&Bs to luxury resorts, there’s something to suit every budget.
