Corowa Shire is steeped in history, playing a significant role in the 1901 Federation of Australia, self guided walking tour around the historic buildings within Corowa; tells the story of the Birthplace of Federation.
A self guided historical map is available from the Corowa Visitor Information Centre ( Open Mon-Friday 10am - 5pm, Sat 10am - 3pm and Sunday 10am-1pm) and gives you the history of the beautiful old buildings in the town and their significance to The Federation Story. With a detailed map pointing out the Historic Buildings and sites.
