Say Cheese, Farmgate Restaurant Showcase Dinner
Overview
The Farmgate Restaurant Annual Showcase dinner has returned for another year.
Chef Gerald Poelzl will be serving a delicious 6-course cheese-centric menu.
Course One: French onion soup with raclette cheese crouton.
Course Two: "Shanklish" Middle Eastern herb-crusted cheese salad with grilled pita.
Course Three: Twice-baked goat's cheese soufflé with crispy pancetta and soubise sauce.
Course Four: Braised red wine beef cheek with Roman-style Emmental cheese gnocchi and autumn greens.
Course Five: German quark cheese tart with marinated raisins, candied quince and toasted almonds.
Course Six: Selection of local farmhouse cheeses and local condiments.
The fourth year of this showcase dinner will again work with Nowra's Tara Distillery to serve paired cocktails featuring the Tara Distillery spirits.
