Forage and Feast - Truffle Hunt and Long Lunch
Overview
Join renowned local trainer, Teneka Priestly, and her truffle dogs for a special Fire Festival edition of Forage & Feast. Begin with a Firekeeper's Welcome around a crackling fire before a quided walk amongst Borrodell's 30-year-old oak trees and uncover Black Périgord truffles hidden beneath the winter soil. It's part education, part theatre - and entirely dictated by the land.
From there, the experience shifts indoors, where a glass of Borrodell's mulled heritage apple cider awaits before guests settle in for a three-course long lunch paired with estate wines. The menu celebrates the season's harvest and the produce that makes the Orange Region one of Australia's great food and wine regions.
Less formal than the Black Tie & Gumboot Truffle Hunt & Dinner, but no less considered, Forage & Feast is about proximity: to produce, to place, and to the people who bring it all to life.
