Clarkes Gambit
Overview
The event name seeks to build on the legend of Thomas and John Clarke, who were the nation's deadliest bushrangers who rustled livestock, ambushed gold shipments and robbed traders from Braidwood to Bega in southern New South Wales in the mid-1860s.
The event will comprise two days of gravel cycling on some of the best gravel roads in Australia through stunning scenic vistas overlooking the Eurobodalla Shire. Riders will also receive access to download complementary event photographs taken by Outer Image.
Event Support is provided by Batemans Bay Cycles and Cessnock Bicycle Company including on-course feed zone and mechanical support. The event is a fully insured event with approval from the local council and authorities.
Riders also receive a 'goodies bag' containing various samples from sponsors.
