Piccolo Family Farm

Sitting on 20 acres just outside of Griffith, Piccolo Family Farm features a citrus orchard, a small vineyard, market gardens and two acres of established manicured gardens and buildings.

The small vineyard features four Italian varietals carefully selected to complement the climate and soil type. The vineyard supplies fruit for the family's winery, 'Caro Piccolo', which also produces Italian spirits and liqueurs.

The citrus orchard produces three varieties of oranges that fruit almost year-round. The market garden includes herbs, fruits and vegetables. The farm uses sustainable farming practices, with all the produce harvested by hand and free of chemicals and pesticides. It directly supplies the family's restaurant, Limone Dining, located on the main street of Griffith.

Scattered across the farm are interesting buildings, installations using recycled materials, heritage farm equipment, and industrial pieces, such as weir gates, reflecting the region's agricultural heritage and vintage vehicles. It is a magical place of curiosities brought to life by Peter Piccolo's story-telling.
