Its 35 years since Elvis left the building, yet more than 18,000 Elvis fans gathered in the Central NSW town of Parkes to celebrate Elvis Presley's birthday during the 2012 Festival.
Record crowds are expected for the CountryLink Parkes Elvis Festival in 2013.
A five day program of events will feature favourites including free main stage entertainment, look-a-like contests, Tribute to Elvis Competition, The Elvis Street Parade, Opportunity to renew your wedding vows, displays of Elvis memorabilia (including Greg Page's: The Kings Castle), Elvis Gospel Service, Cars of the Era Car Show and more than 150 unique Elvis-style events.
CountryLink provide a unique opportunity to arrive in style travelling on the 'CountryLink Elvis Express'. REX airlines offers regular flights into Parkes, or you may choose to drive, allowing you a greater opportunity to explore the many attractions around the Central West area.
