Raising Ravens 'Motives' EP Tour - Wollongong

Raising Ravens are back after a mini break from touring and resting after the release of debut album ' Leaving With The Halflight' in 2023, the band are ready to attack with the latest release 'Motives', a five track EP full of energy and velocity. 2024 is going to be one to remember. 'Motives' was written ultimately as a purge of negative experiences both personal and universal from the past two years as a way of understanding or coming to terms with what motivates human beings to do the things they do.

Motives: We all have them.

Raising Ravens was conceived by Australian artist, Jess Finlayson in 2020 and grew into a musical nebula over the following years of mayhem and chaos.

Including contributions from some of Jess’s favourite musical comrades, Raising Ravens has become more of a collective than one singular entity and continues to evolve. Choosing to remain completely independent, Jess created her own label, Interloper Records with all Raising Ravens releases being launched from a platform owned and run by the artist.
