The Great Western Hotel and Motel (1898) makes a big impact on the streetscape as you arrive into this outback gold mining town.

It boasts the longest iron lace verandah in the Southern Hemisphere (100m) and for that is one of the town's most distinct and recognizable buildings. The Hotel offers two bars and restaurant downstairs, beer garden, and their latest addition is a cafe.

The Motel offers 18 air conditioned rooms, with tea/coffee and fridge at great prices and convenient in the centre of town.

The Great Western Bar and Grill meals are renowned locally for being top quality and good value and the coffee is also making a good impression on locals and travellers alike.

At the Great Western they pride themselves on service and country hospitality. The beer is cold and the welcome warm. You can find the menu for the Great Western Bar and Grill on the Facebook page.
