Amaroo also known as Snake Valley MX for its motocross tracks, is situated on over 300 acres and backs onto the Toonumbar National Park.

The property sits at the top of a dirt road to the top of a small mountain with incredible views of Mount Lindsay and Mount Barney. The owner has spent over 30 years bringing the land back from blade glass to the early stages of rainforest, through native seed propagation and bush regeneration. Much of it is not accessible by car, and the cleared areas are maintained for camping.

After decades of keeping the land free from domestic and commercial animals, the native wildlife has come back in abundance and is thriving. Depending on the time of year you could see any number of wallabies, goannas, and echidnas, as countless varieties of birds and butterflies, small marsupials, koalas, microbats, snakes, and even a few lone dingos have been spotted from a distance during duck breeding season.

This is a hosted stay through Hipcamp.
