Water birds provide entertainment; white cranes, spoonbills, wood ducks and purple swamp hens are seasonal visitors.

A screened gazebo (summerhouse) off the upper deck, covered with Banksia roses, gives you extra shelter from the elements.

In its own Casuarina forest surrounded by a sea of blue plumbago, Casuarina Cottage is very private. French doors open out from the bedrooms to the sunny veranda and the gazebo at the back of the cottage is a perfect spot to dine or relax all year round.

Lie back in the al fresco hot tub (Jacuzzi) in winter and count the stars through the Casuarina's.
