Double
Room Only. Two of the bedrooms have double beds, and have been restored to a modest Victorian style. The other rooms have twin beds, and a double and single bed. There is no place for en suites in a building of this antiquity, but unlike travellers of old you don't have to go out the back yard for your ablutions - there is a bathroom just down the hall. |

A visit to Berrima is not complete without a visit to the Surveyor General Inn. Enjoy the hospitality of their friendly staff, and take home with you the memory of one of Australia's most famous inns.
The Surveyor General Inn was built in 1834 for James Harper, using convict labour, and licensed as an inn in the following year. The main building, constructed of local convict-hewn sandstone and sandstock bricks, has served as both a pub and accommodation for over a century and a half.
Remaining in the Harper family for almost 100 years, The Surveyor General is the oldest continuously licensed inn in Australia.
