A Stitch in Time – Quilt Exhibition is a selection of Quilts and Textile Art from the collections of Queanbeyan-Palerang Council and the Braidwood Quilters.
This exhibition at Rusten House Arts Centre features quilts from the 'Quilts 2000' project which brought together over 600 quilts from Australia wide to raise over AUD500,000 at auction for the Sydney 2000 Paralympics.
It also highlights quilted panels created to commemorate the opening of the QBN Bicentennial Hall, and quilts created for the Centenary of Federation. These textile artworks celebrate the connections of both our Regional Heritage Festival and the Queanbeyan Quilters Exhibition weekend being hosted at the QBN Bicentennial Hall.
