Chifley Home - Bathurst
Chifley Home is a house museum which serviced as the only marital home of Australian Prime Minister Ben Chifley and his wife, Elizabeth. The home contains original household furnishings and personal belongings of the Chifley’s. On display are also ceremonial gifts presented to Ben Chifley in his roles as Commonwealth Treasurer and Prime Minister.
The Chifley Home also has an Interpretative Centre which features additional displays on Ben Chifley and serves as an educational centre for school groups and a venue for changing exhibitions.
Opening times
Tour Times: 10.00am and 12.00pm Saturday, Sunday and Monday. Groups by appointment.
