Joadja Distillery
Highlights
- Handcrafted spirits with home-grown barley and spring water
- Rich heritage setting in a historic 1870s mining village
- Authentic flavours inspired by Scottish distilling traditions
Overview
Joadja Distillery is in the Southern Highlands of NSW, located in an 1870’s abandoned kerosene mining village.
The Distillery is one of a few single malt distilleries in the world to grow their own barley and have access to natural pristine spring water on-site.
The intention is to sustainably create and share authentic quality spirits that are true to the character, nature and heritage of Joadja Valley.
The Scottish heritage in the valley and the history of "sly grog" inspired the Jimenez family to establish Joadja Distillery in 2014 at the historic Joadja Town.
