HARS Aviation Museum Tarmac Days
Friday 08 December 2023 to Sunday 14 January 2024 (MONTHLY event)
In addition to Museum’s daily exhibits, Tarmac Days highlight specific events or era in aviation. Tarmac Days are held outside the HARS hangars on the second Friday, Saturday and Sunday of every month, displaying some of the unique aircraft held at its headquarters at the Illawarra Regional Airport at Albion Park. Members of the public will be able to board and sit in some of the aircraft cockpits including F-111C fighter bomber, Lockheed Super Constellation, Catalina, Neptune submarine hunter. Guided tours of the aircraft on display are available and run throughout the day.
Take the opportunity to also check out the other amazing collections at the museum - including the exquisite restoration work of HARS aviation volunteers with their replica of Kingsford-Smith’s Southern Cross.
