Attraction - Building and Structure, Museum Paterson Court House, built in 1857 was the centre of justice in the district, housing many policeman. The officers covered a large area on horse back, keeping law and order and also coping with occasional visits by bushrangers, Thunderbolt and The Governor Brothers.
The Paterson Historic Walk is accessible form the museum - picnic or BBQ in Tucker Park, or buy something tasty from the Paterson Country Cafe opposite the post office, which also caters as a Tourist Information Centre. An interesting place to visit on the way to the beautiful Barrington Tops. Accommodation is available from the court house hotel/motel.
