4 Day Corner Country

Join us on a journey of discovery into this beautiful country. Staying underground in White Cliffs is an experience you will never forget, along with the opportunity to meet the people who live and work in this quirky outback town. Visit the rolling over red sand dunes, you will find the photo opportunities are endless! Explore Sturt National Park - the home of the big red kangaroo. Depending on seasonal changes the area can abound in not only roos and emus, but it is a haven for various lizards and birds. At times the flocks of budgies, galahs, corellas or cockatiels cloud the sky with their wings. You may be lucky enough to get a good look at Australia's largest bird of prey - the majestic Wedge Tail Eagle. With two nights staying in Tibooburra, you will enjoy just sitting on the verandah of the Family Hotel and 'watching the town go by'. This full day tour is designed to highlight the diversity of the Broken Hill and the Silverton area. The tour starts by viewing some of Broken Hill's heritage listed architecture, exploring the diversity of parks, gardens, mines and homes in this outback oasis. Visit some of our famous art galleries, the Big Picture and the Line of Lode, before heading to Silverton. Enjoy a drink at the famous Silverton Hotel and marvel at the vast expanse of Mundi Mundi Plains. The last stop for the day is at the spectacular Sculpture Symposium on the edge of Broken Hill. 8 Day Birdsville and Outback Loop

1 Day Menindee/Kinchega National Park

There are many picture postcard opportunities on this tour as you enjoy a relaxing day exploring the massive Menindee Lake system and Kinchega National Park. Morning tea on the banks of Lake Parmarmaroo is a great introduction to the spectacular Menindee Lakes System, which is many times larger than Sydney Harbour. Travel through Kinchega National Park to see kangaroos, emus and abundant birdlife. Visit the historic Woolshed, then follow the Darling River as it winds through massive stands of Red Gums to Menindee township. The first Europeans to visit the area followed the Darling River in search of pasture for their sheep. Menindee was once a thriving river port and the area is rich in the history of our early explorers. Burke and Wills and Charles Sturt's exploration parties both spent time camped at Kinchega. Learn about the fascinating pastoral and aboriginal history of the area. Kinchega National Park was once part of the Kinchega-Kars pastoral lease held by the Hughes family since 1870. At its grandest, the property extended from Menindee to Broken Hill and covered an area of over 800,000 acres.

1 Day Mutawintji National Park

Experience an interpretive tour of Mutawintji National Park. Travel through ever changing landscapes of the Barrier Ranges, salt bush plains, mulga and red sand country. Enjoy homemade cake and a cuppa under the shade of a tree in a dry creek bed. Enjoy two interpretive bush walks to the engravings site and stencils site and discover the remnants of fire places and stone tool making which gives us an insight into traditional life in the area. 5 Day NSW Outback Lap

Take a step away from the hustle, bustle and stress of modern life, and jump into one of our 4WD vehicles for a leisurely journey through some of Outback NSW's most scenic and off the beaten track locations.  Visit the Menindee Lake system, which abounds with bird and wildlife, before heading to Mungo  where you can relax in the luxury of Mungo Lodge and enjoy a spectacular sunset over the Walls of China lunettes. Travel to Cobar, the copper mining hub of the outback via the quaint town of Ivanhoe, where we enjoy a great lunch at the local pub. Then onto Louth and Tilpa on the Darling River - both towns full of fascinating history and quirky characters. Our overnight stay at Warrawong on the Darling is one of those outback gems you will long remember. Explore the opal fields and shops of White Cliffs and discover the history of this unique place, before sleeping soundly in your underground bedroom.  Our final day takes us to the magnificent Mutawintji NP where you will discover some of the most culturally significant indigenous art in Australia, at one of the country's most sacred aboriginal sites.
