Broken Hill based Tri State Safaris is Australia's most awarded four wheel drive tour company. Specialising in small group tours of the diverse Outback Australia, they have been recognised on local, state and national levels for their dedication and passion.

Four Day Corner Country

Join us on a journey of discovery into this beautiful country. Staying underground in White Cliffs is an experience you will never forget, along with the opportunity to meet the people who live and work in this quirky outback town. Visit the rolling over red sand dunes, you will find the photo opportunities are endless! Explore Sturt National Park - the home of the big red kangaroo. Depending on seasonal changes the area can abound in not only roos and emus, but it is a haven for various lizards and birds. At times the flocks of budgies, galahs, corellas or cockatiels cloud the sky with their wings. You may be lucky enough to get a good look at Australia's largest bird of prey - the majestic Wedge Tail Eagle. With two nights staying in Tibooburra, you will enjoy just sitting on the verandah of the Family Hotel and 'watching the town go by'. As the most remote town in New South Wales and without doubt the capital of the Corner Country, this is a town oozing with characters and stories - take the time to have a drink at one of the hotels and chat to the locals.

One Day Broken Hill and Silverton Explorer

This full day tour is designed to highlight the diversity of the Broken Hill and the Silverton area. The tour starts by viewing some of Broken Hill's heritage listed architecture, exploring the diversity of parks, gardens, mines and homes in this outback oasis. Visit some of our famous art galleries, the Big Picture and the Line of Lode, before heading to Silverton. Enjoy a drink at the famous Silverton Hotel, marvel at the vast expanse of Mundi Mundi Plains. The last stop for the day is at the spectacular Sculpture Symposium on the edge of Broken Hill. Eight Day Birdsville Outback Loop

This tour is designed to show off the diversity of the outback and give you the opportunity to meet some of the outback's true characters. Discover Milparinka and Cameron Corner. Take the Strzelecki Track to Innamincka. Travel Walkers Crossing to Birdsville. Conquer the 'Big Red' Simpson Desert. Adventure through to Cordillo Downs and Innamincka. See Thargomindah and the 'Dig Tree'. Visit Tibooburra and be captivated by the native wildlife in Sturt National Park, before arriving back at base in Broken Hill.

One Day Menindee/Kinchega National Park

There are many picture postcard opportunities on this tour as you enjoy a relaxing day exploring the massive Menindee Lake system and Kinchega National Park. Morning tea on the banks of Lake Parmarmaroo is a great introduction to the spectacular Menindee Lakes System, which is many times larger than Sydney Harbour. Travel through Kinchega National Park to see kangaroos, emus and abundant birdlife. Visit the historic Woolshed, then follow the Darling River as it winds through massive stands of Red Gums to Menindee township. The first Europeans to visit the area followed the Darling River in search of pasture for their sheep. Menindee was once a thriving river port and the area is rich in the history of our early explorers. Burke and Wills and Charles Sturt's exploration parties both spent time camped at Kinchega. Learn about the fascinating pastoral and aboriginal history of the area. Kinchega National Park was once part of the Kinchega-Kars pastoral lease held by the Hughes family since 1870. At its grandest, the property extended from Menindee to Broken Hill and covered an area of over 800,000 acres.

One Day Mutawintji National Park

Experience an interpretive tour of Mutawintji National Park. Travel through ever changing landscapes of the Barrier Ranges, salt bush plains, mulga and red sand country. Enjoy homemade cake and a cuppa under the shade of a tree in a dry creek bed. Enjoy two interpretive bush walks to the engravings site and stencils site and discover the remnants of fire places and stone tool making which gives us an insight into traditional life in the area. Three Day Mungo Deluxe Eco Tour

Six Day Reisling and Ranges Tour
