Based in Broken Hill, the award-winning Tri State Safaris has been in operation since 1992 by Michael and Joanne McCulkin. The tours are designed to introduce travellers to the remarkable outback in safety and comfort, with an accent on learning and having fun. Remember back when a holiday was a real adventure. That's Tri State Safaris philosophy. Tours range from 1 day to 19 days and include destinations such as Cameron Corner, Flinders Ranges, Mutawintji and Mungo National Parks, Simpson Desert, Birdsville, Lake Eyre, Innamincka, Kimberleys, Cape York and The Great Ocean Road.

With local knowledge of the outback area, a stop in the middle of nowhere could have you gathering bush tucker, visiting ancient Aboriginal art sites or learning about unusual plants, animals and their habitats. It's an outback experience with an education.
