Walk along the sand tracks through coastal heath vegetation and keep an eye and ear out for the abundant birdlife. Experience the dune vegetation and walk along a renowned surf beach, often visited by dolphins and whales. Cool off with a swim in a rejuvenating tea tree lake at Lennox Head. Next, we can visit a natural apiary managed by the local charity, The Colony Bees Association. Home to multiple bee species, including the Australian native bee, we will learn about the crucial role these pollinators play in our ecosystem and how we provide bee habitats to support the bee population. Before returning to Byron Bay, we will explore one of Byron Bay’s natural coastlines, boasting cliffs, rock islands and pristine beaches, often visited by dolphins and whales. Especially for the earlybirds, a sunrise experience is available, adding busier wildlife and an unforgettable sunrise over the ocean to the adventure!
