Snowy Mountains

The Snowy Mountains is one of New South Wale’s great destinations. It enjoys an irresistible lure for thousands of holiday-makers during the ski-season but with its extraordinary natural beauty and mountain landscape, it’s a superb place to visit during the summer as well.

There are four major ski resorts to choose from: Perisher, the largest, Thredbo, with the longest runs, Charlotte Pass, and the family-friendly Selwyn Snowfields. Catering for novice and expert skiers alike, there are also options to go snow-shoeing, tubing and snow-boarding.

For party-goers, a resort like Thredbo has a rockin’ night-life with a number of bars and nightclubs to help celebrate a blissful day on the slopes. Meanwhile, for a romantic getaway, book yourself into a remote cabin and wake up to a beautiful alpine view.

During the warmer months, the mountains stay alive with any number of activities: like trekking, bushwalking, rock-climbing and horse-riding. With so much to do in an invigorating environment of blissfully fresh air and epic scenery, the Snowy Mountains is a must-see.
