Country NSW

Country NSW covers a vast expanse of inland NSW, including Orange, Mudgee, Wagga Wagga, the Riverina, the Yass Valley, Moree, Armidale and Tamworth. Here you can explore everything from rolling pastoral hills to incredible local food and wine. Some of the state’s most spectacular natural attractions and national parks can be found in Country NSW, such as the Warrumbungle National Park and the Wollomombi Falls in Oxley Wild Rivers National Park. Mudgee and Orange are the two most well-known wine regions in Country NSW, but the cool climate wines of the Yass Valley (near Canberra) are no less impressive.

The scenic country roads of NSW are ideal for an exploratory road trip. Explore the New England North West region, including Armidale, Tamworth, Glen Innes and Inverell stopping at the local cafes, markets and cellar doors along the way. There’s always something happening in the country; NSW takes advantage of its spectacular outdoor spaces and top shelf produce with food, wine and music events year-round.
