Iain Smart joined the Bangalay team in 2023 after an international career in French/Mediterranean style restaurants. His last role in London was as Sous Chef at Michelin starred Chez Bruce. After opening a successful neighbourhood cafe in Petersham, Sydney, he moved with his family to Far Meadow on the NSW South Coast. Alongside his wife Kath, Far Meadow Table was born. Far Meadow table became a local institution much loved by locals and visitors alike.
Iain is bringing the Far Meadow Table menu concept to Bangalay for a limited lunch series as part of the Shoalhaven Food Network Celebration of Food.
