Discover the breathtaking beauty of Australia’s legendary high country on a horseriding adventure. Home of the wild brumby and immortalised in Banjo Paterson’s 1890 poem The Man from Snowy River, the magnificent NSW Snowy Mountains offers horseriding tours for all levels of experience.

Rides vary from one hour to full day and multi-day treks, where you’ll be camping under the bright stars at night and swapping yarns around a campfire. All horseback tours are led by experienced local guides. You can also bring your own horse and take advantage of the stables across the region.

There are expeditions in Kosciuszko National Park, named after Australia’s highest peak – Mount Kosciuszko. State forests are enchanting experiences too, with Mountain Ash Trails touring in lovely Bago State Forest, near Tumbarumba. Another popular spot is Tumut State Forest, near Tumut.
