Rides vary from one hour to full day or multi-day rides, each led by experienced local guides and varying in difficulty. You can also bring your own horse and take advantage of the stables in the area. Safety demonstrations and professional guidance is provided on guided rides, but it's important to ensure you choose a trail within your skill level.

Yarramba Horse Riding guides you through gum trees, along tracks with magnificent views across Cooma's wide regional plains. Nearby town Adaminaby also hosts Cochran Horse Treks and Reynella Kosciusko Rides, both operated by experienced guides.

Thredbo Valley Horse Riding will get you access to 1,130 hectares of sub-alpine wilderness on mountain-bred horses. Private and group options are available, as well as customised rides. Mountain Ash Trails in Tumbarumba offers half day and full day rides through the stunning Bago State Forest.
