Mid North Coast Maritime Museum - Port Macquarie
Greater Port Macquarie is steeped in maritime history, and at the Maritime Museum's three venues you have the opportunity to relive over 100 years of heritage as each provide a variety of exhibits.
The Museum encompasses two separate cottages which were originally built as pilot cottages in 1896. Now they house a wonderful collection of memorabilia and artefacts including superbly built scale models of a variety of vessels, charts, maps, paintings and an extensive collection of historical maritime photographs.
Entry Fees apply.
School and Community Groups welcome.
Within walking distance from town- approximately 10 minutes from the centre of town, drive by car or catch public transport.
