Border Ranges National Park - Kyogle
A world heritage listed rainforest, the Border Ranges lies on the New South Wales/Queensland border. It encompasses 31,729 hectares of scenic rainforest featuring deep gorges with waterfalls that plunge hundreds of metres. Bushwalkers and birdwatchers flock to this park.
Pinnacle Lookout offers views of Mount Warning, the escarpment and all the way to the coast. The park is a haven to native fauna such as Alberts Lyrebird and the pouched frog. It is co-managed under an Indigenous Land Use Agreement with the Githabul people.
There are camping and picnic areas throughout the park.
