The Iluka Mermaid Festival is a colourful and vibrant celebration of community, culture and sport.

The treasured Mermaid who sits proudly by Iluka Bay, overseeing passing life on the Clarence is the name-sake for the festival.

She has given rise to an inspiring festival program of events that’s sure to appeal to residents and visitors alike. Events will be held within the township of Iluka.

The Iluka community wish to honour the heritage, local monuments and talents of its residents by offering festival events to inspire appreciation for the unique features and provide an avenue for participation in the multitude of organisation’s activities.

With static displays, sporting contests and exhibitions, rally/treasure hunt, tours, movie screening, dance and gala awards night, the festival is a fantastic experience for all to enjoy.

The festival is presented by Iluka Woombah Rotary, working with local organisations and businesses across the Clarence Valley.
