'The Hay House Scone', located in Scone, the horse breeding capital of Australia, surrounded by magnificent horse studs open at varying times throughout the year to view the property gardens; surrounds. Built in 2006, designed by Terra Prima Sustainable Design. A strawbale house, rendered with natural earth. 100% self sufficient with solar energy; rain water. Purchased by current owner in 2020. Set on 2.75 acres of established trees; gardens, slowly transforming the property with Permaculture principles, taking it to the next level of sustainability with fruit; citrus orchard swales, a water harvesting kitchen garden with vegetables scattered in amongst a Native grove of Lemon Scented gum trees, native shrubs, wildflowers. Join our beautiful chickens, producing fresh eggs each day, my friendly Cavoodle 'Remy'; playful Border Collie "George'. We have a fresh water dam. We are close enough to ride bikes into town for a great coffee and wander around the historic streetscape of our township. Coles; Woolworths and several bottleshops.
