Events in the Hunter Valley
The Hunter Valley is the perfect place for a getaway, offering a taste of the good life. Australia's most visited wine region is home to 150 top-class wineries, vineyards and cellar doors; 65 restaurants and a range of fantastic accommodation options.
The Hunter area is also renowned for hosting events year-round. With its sterling reputation as a food and wine haven, the Hunter Valley Food and Wine Month is just one of many highly anticipated annual events. The month-long event showcases the region’s wine and food culture with a series of themed activities throughout June.
The Hunter Valley Gardens are transformed during winter with Snow Time in the Garden. This yearly winter event offers something for the whole family with an open air ice-skating rink, winter games, hearty seasonal food and warm beverages.
With a thriving arts and culture scene, the Hunter Valley also caters to creatives with various events held throughout the calendar year. There are also numerous markets featuring handmade trinkets, vintage clothing and fresh produce for sale.
The Hunter Valley’s full calendar features something for a wide range of tastes and interests.
