The Parkes Shire Library and Cultural Centre is a delightful spot for visitors to stop. The library offers its visitors a wide range of services, including access to books, magazines, newspapers, and online resources. The library also hosts regular events and workshops, such as book clubs, storytime sessions for children, and computer classes for seniors. In addition, the library provides free Wi-Fi, printing and scanning facilities, and study spaces for students. Co-located at the Library and Cultural Centre is the the Marramarra Makerspace Studio, a purpose-built creative arts and STEAM studio for residents and visitors to enjoy. This space encourages creativity and design through various tools, including 3D printers, a laser cutter/engraver, sewing machines, and arts and crafts that Parkes Shire residents can use and enjoy.
