The Railway Barracks carries significant historical value to the Goulburn district. Recently renovated, the Railway Barracks date back to 1935 and were originally used as the sleeping Barracks for Goulburn's first train drivers.

The group accommodation facility can sleep up to 44 people across a variety of double beds, twin beds, and sturdy Barrack Bunks. With the exception of the Station Master bedroom, all rooms share a Barracks his and hers shower block.

Outside the fun continues. All aboard the Barracks very own Railway Platform! With a restored First Class Southern Aurora carriage, famous for its exclusive Sydney to Melbourne overnight service that started back in 1962, the deck is perfect for photo opportunities.

The Railway Barracks is the perfect place for your group of train, machine or history enthusiasts, family and friend groups, or school and sporting teams who want to stay and play together.

Situated across the road from the Goulburn Rail Heritage Centre and two kilometres from Goulburn's central business district.

The Barracks features a fully equipped residential kitchen, NBN broadband connected to an AppleTV, data projector, and Sonos sound system.
