About Barham
Barham is a pretty riverside town on the Murray River, with lakes and nearby red gum forests to explore. Its twin town is Koondrook in Victoria. Barham is a great spot to base yourself if you'd like to enjoy recreation activities along the Murray.
Barham Lakes is a great place to start. Surrounded by grasslands and native plants, the lakes have excellent picnic spots, a walking track and riverbank beach for hot days. If you enjoy fishing then head off with a local operator on a fishing trip on the Murray River for Murray Cod and golden perch. Barham has its own championship golf course, one of the finest of the many courses along the Murray. Don't miss Barham Bridge.
