Mount Hay - Leura
Mount Hay at 933 metres north of Leura is a distinctive rounded basalt peak that can be seen as you travel the Great Western Highway and Bells Line of Road. It is one of a number of basalt capped mountains in the area. Along Mount Hay Road is Lockley Pylon which provides excellent views of Mount Hay. From Lockley Pylon experienced and well prepared walkers can choose to descend into the Grose Valley and the Blue Gum Forest.
