Cantina Bar + Grill

Located in the heart of Darlinghurst’s gourmet food precinct Cantina Bar & Grill has Sydneysiders and overseas visitors buzzing. With a warm, rustic feel, polished wooden floors and dark mahogany finishes, Cantina - translated as ‘bar’ or ‘tavern’ in Spanish – offers a number of traditional Spanish dishes on the menu, as well as a whole lot more.

Chef Adam Howe’s innovative menu takes patrons on a walk through the streets of the Mediterranean – only without the jetlag! He draws from a range of influences, including Spain, Morocco, Greece and Portugal, producing variations of some of the most memorable food from these regions. Combining traditional flavours, modern techniques and fresh local produce, Howe delivers authentic and diverse tastes to surprise even the well-travelled diner.

Cantina’s bar adds a truly international flavour and encourages diners to experience Mexico by trying an extensive range of tequila and aperitifs. Drink your way around the vineyards of Chile, Spain and Argentina when sampling a range of hand selected international wines.

Although you may be tempted to order everything on the menu, leave room for dessert! The traditional Churros with rich liquid chocolate accompaniment are a must, as is Cantina’s cheese plate with premium sherry – both a great end to a memorable meal. Best of all, though, it’s an eatery that won’t break the bank.
