Gyotaku Art & Chefs Counter Dining
Overview
Discover the connection between art, food and the Tweed Coast with an intimate Gyotaku art and dining experience at Pipit Restaurant.
Begin with a chef-led demonstration of Gyotaku, the traditional Japanese art of creating prints from whole fish. Guests can watch the printing process up close and engage with the chefs while learning more about the art, cooking techniques, sustainable seafood and Pipit's connection to the local coastal landscape.
The experience continues at Pipit's Chef's Counter with a five-course set menu showcasing the restaurant's award-winning approach to seasonal dining.
Designed for small groups, the experience offers an intimate view into Pipit's open kitchen and the opportunity to connect directly with the chefs throughout the experience.
Each guest also receives a Pipit Gyotaku print to take home.
