Haywards Beach, also known as Camel Rock Surf Beach, is best known for its iconic 'Camel Rock', great surf and surrounding walking tracks.

The beach is bordered by Murunna Point at its northern end, a culturally significant area that is comprised of 450 million-year-old metamorphic rocks that have been eroded to form 30-metre high sea cliffs fronted by rocks, reefs and sea stacks, including one in the shape of a camel.

Haywards Beach has some great beach breaks and is regarded as a surfing mecca among locals.

The beach extends for five kilometres with vast golden sands, a signposted dog-walking area, and various access points.

Step out on the Camel Rock to Murunna Point walking track, an elevated 1.5-kilometre trail with lookouts and spectacular ocean views.

Does not cater for people with access needs.
