Cyclists are set to hit the streets again for this years Annual Dungog Pedalfest - young, old, slow and steady and the fast'n'furious. There are rides for everyone and great opportunities for spectating.

For the competitive riders, there are Mountain Bike races at the Dungog Common presented by Hunter Schools Mountain Biking and Ride Dungog, and the speedy Pedalfest Criterion presented by Newcastle Hunter Cycling Club for the roadies. Kids and families can enjoy the traditional Kids and Cobwebs, Fosterton Loop and Scones Jam and Cream rides as well as trying their luck at the Hooke Street Races. And if you happen to be a Penny Farthing, Foot Bike or Dandy Horse Rider - you have a chance to be a State Champion or National Champion. What is a foot bike you ask? It is a scooter with pump up tyres - and a Dandy Horse is the original balance bike.

In return for having the best weekend on two wheels, you will be raising money for the Dungog Shire Community Centre who deliver youth, family, elderly and support for those in need.

Full details are found on our website and the Dungog Pedalfest Facebook page.
