The 75th National Cherry Festival

The National Cherry Festival in Young celebrates the town's proud heritage as the Cherry Capital of Australia, set within the picturesque Hilltops Region. In 2025, the festival marks its 75th anniversary, adding an extra layer of excitement to this much-loved event.

Held over three lively days on the first weekend of December, the festival opens with a special Friday night Multicultural Cherry Fiesta, bringing the milestone to life with an international food fair, cultural performances and engaging cherry cooking demonstrations by Adam Liaw. It is a vibrant celebration that reflects the diversity and spirit of the community.

Across the weekend, visitors can savour cherry pies, explore bustling market stalls, enjoy live entertainment and experience the thrill of amusement rides.
