The Bald Archy Prize - Temora
Overview
Australia's cheekiest art prize is coming to Temora! The Bundawarrah Centre will host the Bald Archy Prize Exhibition, showcasing 48 satirical portraits of celebrities and politicians judged by… a cockatoo.
Founded in 1994 by the late Peter Batey, whom said "It takes 12 galahs to judge the Archibald—only one cockatoo to judge the Bald Archy."
Settle in for Australia's most irreverent portrait prize—where politics, pop-culture and familiar faces are skewered with affectionate satire and dark humour.
Gold-coin entry. Family-friendly.
