The Society is a non-for-profit organisation which holds art exhibitions, competitions and classes. It is a working gallery and has monthly exhibitions each year. Some of these are open competitions and the remainder are for members only.
Art classes are held on weekdays, weekends and evenings. They cover all mediums and some specialise in a particular subject matter. A relaxed and supportive environment is encouraged and students of all levels are welcome. Tuition costs are minimal.
In addition to the regular art classes, visiting professional tutors conduct workshops throughout the year.
