Overview
The Queanbeyan Art Society provides a supportive and encouraging environment for artists. They work together to develop, educate, and provide opportunities to exhibit, promote, and sell art.
The venue for the Society is a charming 1880s brick cottage, O'Neill's Cottage, which is set on the banks of the Queanbeyan River. It is a working gallery, and holds monthly exhibitions, gallery groups and special events including classes by national and international artists.
Gallery groups convene throughout the week and cover all mediums, and some specialise in particular subject matter. A relaxed and supportive environment is encouraged, and students of all levels are welcome.
