Cowra Railway Station

The Cowra Railway Station is open for visitors on the last Sunday of every month between 9am and 3pm. Take a stroll around the magnificent building that played a key role in Cowra’s railway heritage. Since the first train arrived in 1886 until the last train left in September 2009, the Cowra line was a major contributor to the flow of passengers and freight accessing the central west from Sydney and Melbourne.

The Cowra Railway Station is now home to five local community groups who offer a variety of social and community activities which help to maintain and reuse the station. To read more about Cowra’s Railway Heritage in this article written by Lawrence Ryan click here.
