James started playing professionally at age 13 and has a stellar professional career behind him: he has performed alongside the best jazz musicians of the generation and has had the privilege of performing for the President and First Lady of the United States.

Patrick Bartley, Jr. (b. 1993) is a Grammy-nominated saxophonist, multi-instrumentalist, and bandleader from Hollywood, Florida, known for his boundless versatility, virtuosic technique and expressive vocal-like sound.

Since moving to New York City, Patrick has performed and recorded with some of the greatest musical masters in the world, including Wynton Marsalis, Jon Batiste, Emmet Cohen, Herbie Hancock, Carole King and many more.

Seeing the implicit connection between music of the future and the music of the past, Bartley formed the J-MUSIC Ensemble to reinterpret Japanese music, J-Pop, anime themes, and game scores through a jazz-rooted, horn-forward, live band.
