Nundle Woollen Mill ist eine der letzten noch in Betrieb befindlichen Spinnereien in Australien. Das Team von Nundle Mill verwendet traditionelle Spinnmaschinen, von denen mehrere Teile fast 100 Jahre alt sind, um Rohwolle in das berühmte Nundle-Strickgarn in 8-fach, 12-fach und 20-fach zu verwandeln.
Die Nundle Woollen Mill ist ein Muss für Reisende, die Nundle besuchen. Die Mühle erfreut sich jedes Jahr fast 25.000 Besuchern, die den antiken Maschinen bei der Arbeit zusehen können. Außerdem ist eine spannende Auswahl an Handstrickwaren und australischer Designer-Wollmode erhältlich. Die berühmten Nundle-Socken sind kaum zu übersehen!
Geführte Gruppenführungen sind für alle Besucher von Montag bis Freitag möglich, eine Voranmeldung ist unbedingt erforderlich. Gruppenführungen können nach Vereinbarung vereinbart werden.
