Norton Road Wines ist ein familiengeführtes Weingut, das sich auf den Anbau und die Herstellung von Weinen aus kühlem Klima in kleinen Mengen spezialisiert hat, die das Terroir ihrer Region widerspiegeln.
Das Weingut Norton Road Wines ist ein 4 Hektar großes Grundstück an der Landzunge des Yass Creek in Wamboin auf 800 Metern Höhe. Sie sind auf Pinot Noir und Riesling spezialisiert und erweitern den Weinberg mit Neuanpflanzungen der französischen Sorten Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Gamay, Pinot Meunièr und Chardonnay. Sie bewirtschaften auch Früchte aus dem 4 Hektar großen Grundstück Summerhill Road in Bywong, auf dem Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Noir und Riesling angepflanzt sind und das auf 860 Metern Höhe liegt – echter „Wein aus kühlem Klima“.
Biggie’s Barbecue ist das Weingut-Restaurant, das langsam gegarte amerikanische Barbecue-Speisen anbietet und jeden Samstag und Sonntag für Essens- und Weinverkostungen geöffnet ist.
Das Restaurant und die Veranstaltungsräume können an jedem Tag der Woche für private Veranstaltungen gebucht werden. Die Speisekarte bietet passende Getränke und wöchentliche Speise- und Getränkespezialitäten, eine Bar im Freien und die Möglichkeit, im Freien zu speisen.
