Überblick
Norton Road Wines ist ein familiengeführtes Weingut, das sich auf den Anbau und die Herstellung von Weinen in kleinen Chargen aus kühlem Klima spezialisiert hat, die das Terroir ihrer Region widerspiegeln.
Das Weingut Norton Road Wines umfasst ein 1,6 Hektar großes Grundstück am Kap des Yass Creek in Wamboin auf 800 Metern Höhe. Sie sind auf Pinot Noir und Riesling spezialisiert und erweitern ihren Weinberg mit Neuanpflanzungen der französischen Rebsorten Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Gamay, Pinot Meunière und Chardonnay. Zudem bewirtschaften sie die Trauben des 1,6 Hektar großen Grundstücks an der Summerhill Road in Bywong, auf dem Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Noir und Riesling angebaut werden. Dieses liegt auf 860 Metern Höhe und ist ein echter Vertreter der Rebsorten „Kühles Klima“.
Das Weingutrestaurant Biggie's Barbecue bietet amerikanische Barbecue-Spezialitäten an und ist jeden Samstag und Sonntag für Weinproben und Speisen geöffnet. Auch Gäste mit Zöliakie oder Glutenunverträglichkeit werden berücksichtigt.
Das Restaurant und die Veranstaltungsräume können an jedem Wochentag für private Feiern gebucht werden. Die Speisekarte bietet passende Getränke und wöchentlich wechselnde Speisen- und Getränkespecials, eine Außenbar und die Möglichkeit zum Essen im Freien.
