Wentworth Shire covers an area of 26,000 square kilometres and is a region of great diversity. It offers visitors the opprutunity to experience an introduction to Outback Australia while enjoying the comforts of an irrigation colony. Wentworth is steeped in Aboriginal history. Later our area was seriously considered as a site for the Australian Capital.
