The Hay Visitors Centre is centrally located in Moppett Street, just off the main street. Staff can assist visitors with information on Hay and district, as well as the surrounding regions, including the Riverina, Murray, and Outback.

Amenities at the Hay Visitors Centre include visitor & coach parking, toilets (including diabled), gazebo, drinking water for caravans & motorhomes, and showers (gold coin donation).

The Hay Visitiors Centre has a wide range of souvenirs on Hay and local product made from materials grown in the Hay district.
