Daffodils at Rydal - Rydal
Once again Rydal is getting ready to open the parks and gardens of the village for when the daffodils are in bloom. Thousands more daffodils have been planted recently to add to the already huge display.
The AUD10 entry fee takes you to all the gardens and musical events and funds raised from garden entry this year are supporting the Lithgow Kids' Breakfast Program for severely disadvantaged children and the Anglicare Respite Program for the disabled.
In the Village there is an easy to follow heritage walk which also takes you to the gardens that are open, while the Rydal cooks will have an all day barbecue. The four big country gardens are another huge feature of Daffodils at Rydal and the award winning 9 Acre Chapel House Garden as well as Bark Ridge with is huge open fire in the shed, will have barbecues and tea and coffee.
