Arts, culture and heritage in Temora
Take the Two Foot Tour around 20 historical sites in Temora, a historic gold rush town also known for its huge open-cut mine.
About Temora
Set in gently-undulating hills covered by wheat, Temora is 420 km south-west of Sydney. The charming, close-knit community calls itself the friendliest town in New South Wales. It's home to the Rural Museum where you can find the original family home of cricket legend, Sir Donald Bradman, a replica of the 7.3 kg Mother Shipton gold nugget and vintage agricultural machinery and steam engines.
Take the kids to Temora Aviation Museum to see vintage military aircraft – plan your visit around the weekend when some of these rare planes are taken out for flights. Alternatively, take the plunge with Skydive Temora at the aerodrome.
