Get the most out of your visit to Uralla by stopping by the Uralla Visitor Information Centre.

Located in the centre of town, a short stroll from Thunderbolt's Statue, the centre is open every day except Good Friday, ANZAC Day, Christmas Day and Boxing Day. The friendly staff and volunteers can provide you with information on local attractions, upcoming events, accommodation and other services.

Maps and brochures are available, along with a selection of souvenirs. Gold pans can be hired by those who wish to try their luck at the nearby Wooldridge Fossicking Reserve.

The centre is also a great place to pick up local treats, including cool climate wines and distilled spirits, locally brewed beer, goat milk skincare products and gift lines by local artisans. A selection of books is available, including a number relating the story of the legendary bushranger, Captain Thunderbolt.
